Hello...

busy week at the Bolt household....feel like I am always going to be saying that...

Grandma left with Grandpa on Sunday morning...after a fun weekend, we were all sad to see them go, Grandma helped a ton while she was here and Grandpa was put to work doing projects almost immediately after he got here. Then...Braydon and Brett headed to the Baltimore Raven's game for a fun afternoon of football...and Braydon had a great time.

Now...we head to Michigan..,,stayed tuned for more pics....

TWO WEEKS!

Brielle has been home for two weeks...and we had our first appointment with Dr. Nancy this morning. Happy to report.....all is good, she is up to 7 lbs 8 oz (35th %) and 20 3/4 inches long (65%). The doctor was happy with her progress. She continues to be a by the book baby, sleeping all the time, very easy going, and rarely crys!

Braydon is adjusting.....he loves her very much and wants so badly to show her that love, we just have to work on the word "gentle". He enjoyed halloween this week, "trick or treat" is a favorite phrase right now, and somehow thinks that everytime he says that....he should be given candy. hmmm, the lessons of life. :)

Grandma leaves on Sunday, and we will start on our own. It has been awesome to have my mom around and all the help she has given!

stay posted for more pics!
hmmm, what is that crazy brother of mine doing?

Our first week home.....with a family of FOUR!

Hello....

the week has gone great! my mom is here..which has been a tremendous help, and Brett took the week off of work..which has been great for Braydon! So far....all is good, Brielle is a sleeper...so we have had peaceful days, and not such bad nights, and Braydon is in love with his little sister. Although, it is hard to explain to a 22 mos old..how to be gentle with a 6 day old. :) oh well, glad it is love...not dislike.

stay posted for more pics....

2 weeks and counting.....

hello...

it has been awhile since i last posted any pics..promise to get on that this week. we are enjoying a rather warm fall (today was close to 80 degrees) but hoping that it will cool down at least a little, soon. We have been staying very busy (typical trend for the Bolt Family) and show no signs of slowing down prior to the arrival of bolt #2. Due date is Oct.25th and we are anxious for the day to come, or maybe early...we will see. Braydon has shown some understanding that a baby will be coming home soon, but as we all know...he really does not know what is about to hit him. He is turning into a typical toddler and having a few more of those lovely 2's melt downs, but.....overall he is a sweetheart! He makes us laugh daily and provides constant entertainment, and is learning so fast, his vocabulary has tripled and we are amazed at what he retains. He is very much into Thomas the Train, and has chosen to learn his colors and numbers through naming the different engines and the numbers they are....whatever works! We will keep you posted and hope to be able to send out a "new arrival" email very soon!

Happy Fall!

Goodbye Summer.....Hello Fall! (at least we hope) :)

Hello,

This summer has been a busy one in the Bolt household and the blog has, well..to say the least..been put on the back burner, but now I have updated it some. The first set of pictures is from our recent jog back to Michigan, and following are some pictures from our vacation in July. I had a lot of pictures and honestly ran out of time to put them all on the blog.

What have we been up to? August was busy for us: took Braydon to his first "Wiggles" concert (he loved it), worked on the house (much to do in a new place), continued to get ready for a new baby, and Brett did travel a lot....but always time for some weekend fun at home. We were really hot this past August...often with temps near 100, and very high humidity...so a lot was done inside. Braydon and I continued with Gymboree, playdates, playgrounds, and swimming.

This fall brings lots of change for us. Braydon started Gymnastics 2 weeks ago...and so far his favorite part is the trampoline and the balance beam. We will also be starting swim lessons later this fall, and I am starting a weekly bible study in 2 weeks. The baby is due Oct.25th, so....much to do before then, but we are really look forward to the arrival and to the new set of challenges and joys! My mom will be coming out for 2 weeks with the birth, and Brett's parents will be joining us at Thanksgiving for a week. Lots of good time with family.

We miss our friends in Michigan and are enjoying our friends in Maryland. We are looking forward to cooler temperatures and the activities that come with fall! Love you!

MICHIGAN!

Hello!

I promise to post pics as soon as I can....but, we are in Michigan...and have been having a great time! Everyday has been filled with activity as the past two weeks we have been with Brett's family and all the cousins. Life can get a little crazy when you have 6 kids running around (4 of them age 3 and under)..but, it has been a blast. The majority of the trip has been spent on the beach or at the pool, and Braydon absolutely loves the water....and riding the Sea Doo with Brett. He has been having a great time with his cousins, and all of them are worn out by the end of the day. We did catch a cold the first week here...but all better now.

We have taken many pictures and can't wait to show you all the family pics, and pics of cousins and friends. Braydon and I will be staying in Michigan until July 31st...so, time enough to see some more friends and see Grandpa and Grandma a few more times.

I am getting a bigger belly by the day.....this baby is making it's presence known.....and the kicks are getting stronger...i love it!

hope everyon is enjoying their summer!
