and we are off......to michigan!

This is the last entry before Michigan, but wanted to show some pics of our past weekend. We took Braydon to the local fire department fair. He rode one ride and the rest he was a little scared of, but it was a nice evening out for us and we supported local economy.

I am going to try to post pics while we are in Michigan....but, for now..we are off to spend two weeks with family and then two weeks with friends! Enjoy your July, and Happy 4th.
picture is blurry..but we had to laugh at the socks and plaid shorts!
giving bruce some love! braydon has shown increased interest in the cats, they are not really excited to have him running after them in the house..but it gives him a lot of laughs!

Fathers Day and more.....

We have had a nice June, with lots of activity. This past weekend we took Braydon to the Baltimore Science Center, which is nicely directed toward children. He enjoyed himself and so did we as we were escaping a very hot 90+ degree day. We also spent a little time walking around the Inner Harbor and taking in some of the local activity. Father's Day was spent at home doing house things and playing outside in his blow up pool and sprinkler (another 90+ degree day).

As for the rest of the month, we have been keeping busy with playdates, gymboree, outside play in the sprinklers (he loves the water), some time at some friends pools, and just being around the house. Braydon is talking up a storm and amazing us on a daily basis with his new vocabulary and the words he comes out with it! chatterbox! He has started some terrible twos with some tantrum, and also has taken to climbing whatever he can..I found him just yesterday..on the dining room table (he had moved the chair out) and pulling on parts of the chandelier! oh boy..i have my work cut out for me!

Baby #2 is making its presence known as my belly has really popped out in the past few weeks..you definately know i am pregnant now! feeling much better..and starting to feel this one kicking!

We head to Michigan next week for the whole month of July! We are really looking forward to it and looking forward to spending some time with cousins and grandparents. Brett will be with us the first two weeks and then back again at the end! enjoy the pics.

Memorial Day Weekend

we spent the first part of the weekend at The Kirley's Beach house near Fenwich island (very close to Ocean City). We had amazing weather, and Braydon went on his first speed boat ride..loved it, ate out for lunch with us, swam in a kiddie pool (again..loved it) and had lots of fun roaming the beach house. He talked non-stop while awake and surprised with yet more new words for the weekend: BBQ, clouds, fire truck, pool, and more. He is copying most anything we say now, and we have really had to start watching ourselves more as well.

Memorial Day was spent back near home, we headed next door to our neighbors for a little while and Braydon got a chance to run around in a sprinkler with some other kids before heading to our friends, The Mutschlers for a BBQ with with their twins, and our friends Brian and Stacy Lee (who are expecting twins in Sept). No..we are still expecting just one. Overall..a very good weeekend, and a hot week here in Baltimore!

Weekend in Michigan (May 4-7)

We had a great visit to Michigan the early part of May. We took Braydon to his first ever Tulip Time in Holland Michigan and got to spend some time on the beach. Visited with friends and family and relaxed for the weekend. The Childers came over for the weekend and went on adventures with us. We look forward to spending a lot of our summer in Holland. Exact dates are not known yet, but for sure the entire month of July.
Some time at Grandpa and Grandma Bolt's Beach
He wanted so badly to be in the water, after this pic was taken he ran in, got soaked and would have loved it if we would have taken all his clothes off and let him swim.
