A Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine

We spent Saturday, December 2nd...riding on Thomas the Tank Engine. We went to Strasburg, PA (about 1 1/2 hours from Balitmore)where Thomas was visiting the railway and took a ride. Braydon was in heaven, as we noted from him shouting "THOMAS" and smiling the entire day. He could not stop watching the train. As many of you know, he absolutely loves trains (thomas being his favorite) and can not name more thomas characters than I knew existed.

For those who don't know about the exhibit. The Thomas Train visits different railways across the country and you can buy a ticket to ride on the train, along with a day of different activites and pictures, etc....It was a good time, and Brett and I both agree....it was something that as a parent....you get so much joy out of just seeing your child so excited!

Brielle spent the time bundled in the Bjorn, napping....I guess she is just not into Thomas like her brother...at least , not yet!

Hello...

We had a great Thanksgiving week....Grandpa and Grandma Bolt visited for the entire week, and Braydon got his share of waking them up every morning, "wake up Grandpa" as he pounded on the door. We had the chance to get our first Christmas tree as a family of four, we went to a Baltimore Ravens game, hung out at the house, made a great turkey dinner, and enjoyed some quiet time (or...as quiet as it can be with an infant and a toddler).

We look forward to the next month as we near Christmas, we will be going to MI for the holiday, but before that..many fun things planned. We have a trip to PA to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine (Braydon is very excited), along with Braydon's 2 yr birthday....can't believe he is two already. We have the Nexion Christmas party, and some other get togethers to attend, should be a busy month....stay tuned for more pics...

Hello....

We traveled to Michigan last weekend and Brielle had the opportunity to meet lots of people. She traveled like a pro...sleeping the entire plane ride, while her brother....he has turned into quite a handful..but, he is almost 2yrs...what can we expect.

Brielle is ONE month old today...stay tuned, as I have yet to take her picture in the chair next to the bear...some of you may remember that I did this with Braydon as well.

Life continues to be very busy...but we are settling in, and I will not say routine...because, nothing feels like routine right now. Our little lady thinks that 12am-2am is a good time to be wide awake and pleasant.....

Braydon is doing great and I can't believe he is going to be 2! in just a few short weeks...time flies!

Hello...

busy week at the Bolt household....feel like I am always going to be saying that...

Grandma left with Grandpa on Sunday morning...after a fun weekend, we were all sad to see them go, Grandma helped a ton while she was here and Grandpa was put to work doing projects almost immediately after he got here. Then...Braydon and Brett headed to the Baltimore Raven's game for a fun afternoon of football...and Braydon had a great time.

Now...we head to Michigan..,,stayed tuned for more pics....
