wow...it has been a long time..

guess facebook has taken over..oops!

will try to get back into this, it is a little busy over here.

all three kids are doing well, and we are anxious to start yet another school year...this one being a big one with Braydon starting kindergarten! i can't believe it...i remember like it was yesterday holding him in the middle of the night, and as sleepless as i was...thinking, he would always be that small. goes way to fast!

Can you believe it is October already? I really can't. Fall is my favorite time of year...i absolutely love it. I like the colder temps (although we are still warm here), the colors, food, smells, holidays, etc.

We are in full swing once again...Braydon has really done well with adjusting to PreK and going to school 5 mornings a week. Brielle is loving her 2 mornings a week in the 2's preschool program, along with her gymnastics class (she is in a preschool class...mommy not involved...wow!). She has really started to show her independence. Beckett is already 6 months old, sitting well by herself and showing more and more personality on a daily basis. We are having a lot of fun.

This past weekend we took the kids to Baughers to pick some apples. I have never done this before and I wanted to try it with the kids...they had a great time! Now, I have to use the apples that we brought home...not hard, although i may run out fast as the kids are eating apples faster than they have before.

6 mos.

Beckett was six months old today. time flies. it really does. We were out to dinner friday night, and it blew both Brett and I away that we were sitting at the table with our THREE kids..three of them, and they were all sitting up, Bex in the high chair just a baby babbling away in between bites of strawberry yogurt. In the moment, it seems so slow but when you step back and really look...it goes so fast. Brielle will be 3yrs in less than a month, and Braydon....wow, i can't believe I will soon have a 5 yr old (december). As for little Bex....she is sitting on her own, trying out the food (although would prefer if we gave her everything we eat), trying to grab at those little puffs, loving her excersaucer, and making a lot (ALOT) of noise (she is louder than the other two at time), and she is our happy little girl. I will post pics soon.

hmmm....

feeling a little overwhelmed this weekend with three kids. somedays i think the job is nearly impossible, and then before i know it...another week has passed. they all keep changing, some days run so smoothly and yet other days i yearn to sit in a room by myself because they are at each other all the time....oh how this will change when #3 starts to move around. as for this weekend....i am tired, and energized at the same time. we packed away the baby swing, it is no longer present in the house.....and it is the first of the many baby things to start to go away, never to be used by us again.....i had tears when i saw brett take those screws out of the swing knowing that i would never put another baby of my own in it. time flies....

Beckett Rolled over...

Big week in the Bolt Household....

Beckett rolled over for the first time (back to belly, and belly to back), started eating rice cereal, applesauce and squash and started to try to sit up by herself, and loves her excersaucer!

Brielle has been successfully using the potty for 4 days now! She is very proud of herself (and her underwear) and so are we!

Braydon.....unfortunately he has been sick with a fever for the past couple days.

Brett and Kim: we had 2 nights out without kids.....

Beckett Jane: August 2009

time is flying...

beckett is already 4 1/2 mos old....where does the time go?  seriously..i may be sleep deprived (very much so), get nothing done around the house, and feel as though i have no time to myself...but this past four months has flown by and she is changing everyday!  she has really started to reach for things, attempting to grab my food out of my hand and tonight bringing a cup to her mouth.  slow down child!  some times i wish for it to go faster...so she could keep up with her siblings, and then i wish for it to go slower because she will most likely be our last and i want to enjoy all these baby times, but i really have no control..do I?  it just keeps moving along.  her stats at this time are 15 lbs 10 oz and 26 inches long.  when i look back at the kids baby books....she is as long as her brother but lighter and longer (by 1 1/2 inches) and bigger (by 1 1/2 lbs) than her sister.  

michigan 2009

there are just too many pics to post....we spent a very fun 5 1/2 weeks there this summer.  Brett was with us the first two weeks and the kids and I spent the rest of the time there hanging out with family and friends.  We absolutely feel at home while we are there and love every minute that we get to be there.  I was a little nervous with the thought of being there alone with the kids, but I had lots of help from others (thanks mom for spending the night so much) and the kids did really well.  It was the coldest month of July on record for Michigan....but temps were still in the seventies and warm, with great breezes from the lake as well.  

we now are back in Maryland...nice and hot here!  wow....but, we anticipate a fun month of August and then it is back to school.  Braydon is going into PreK this year and will be in school five mornings a week, and Brielle will be in 2 days a week (we picked up her Christian Preschool tote bag today....she is very excited!).  Hard to believe another summer is already flying by!  Beckett continues to change and we are loving all the stages with her....she is grabbing at everything now, lifting her chest off the ground, trying to roll, and loves to sit up like a big girl.....she is already 4 months old!  time flies.
